Reed HR have partnered with a professional services company who are seeking a Senior HR Advisor to provide comprehensive HR support across the company, contributing to the effective management of the workforce, and supporting key HR initiatives, including change programs and transformations.

Location: Newcastle (hybrid working)

Contract: Permanent 

Package: Salary 35-40k + Comprehensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on Employee Relations (ER) matters by providing expert and confident advice on disciplinary issues, grievances, and performance management.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication with stakeholders and employees.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders, managers, and employees on HR policies to ensure understanding and compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and morale at all levels.
  • Assist in designing and implementing employee feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and focus groups.
  • Oversee HR administrative processes, including managing employee data, documentation, and updates to the HRIS.

Candidate Specification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field (CIPD qualification desirable).
  • Proven experience as a Senior HR Adviser.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in supporting change programs, organisational transformations, or restructuring initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
