DevOps Engineer
Pay: GBP 35,000 - GBP 80,000.
NewCastle Upon Tyne
One of our software development and consulting clients who are into financial services are seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer.
You will be responsible for automating infrastructure and environments, overseeing, managing, and maintaining our Continuous Integration infrastructure, developing monitoring and diagnostic tools, and delivering automation solutions for end-users.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in PowerShell or scripting languages.
- Experience with C#, Java, or Python, with a background in development or the ability to code.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration through Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as ELK, Grafana, or similar, and experience with CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity.
- Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server, Windows and Linux administration, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and team members.
- A minimum 2.1 degree in Computer Science or a related field, preferably from a Russell Group University.
