About the Role

The Infrastructure and Network Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructure and network solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and developing innovative solutions to enhance performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud and on-premises network architectures, virtualization, security, and enterprise networking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing network and infrastructure solutions.

  • Develop technical architecture roadmaps for network and infrastructure services, aligning with business goals.

  • Assess and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and networking technologies.

  • Ensure network and infrastructure solutions comply with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead the selection and integration of cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure solutions.

  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for enterprise network architectures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.

  • Work with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and application teams, to optimize infrastructure deployments.

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

  • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for continuous improvement.

  • Document architectural designs, technical procedures, and standards.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network architecture.

  • Expertise in enterprise networking technologies, including firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and SD-WAN.

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage, and compute solutions.

  • Proficiency in network security best practices, including Zero Trust, IAM, and encryption standards.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, Prometheus, or ELK stack.

  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

CertificationsPreferred:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Architect

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

  • ITIL Foundation or other relevant IT service management certifications
