Our client is a well-established Global organisation urgently seeking an Application Delivery Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, hybrid model.

As the Application Delivery Manager, you will lead the application team and be responsible for the delivery, management and support (build & run) of key business applications that support the commercial and operational performance. The role covers a broad range of IT solutions and will need to work very closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and how the applications team enable the delivery of commercial targets.

Key responsibilities as the Application Delivery Manager include but not limited to:

  • Ensuring all the critical applications are fully supported by the applications team.
  • Accountable for resolution and prevention of major incidents across the application estate.
  • Delivery IT Application Projects.
  • Undertake reviews and analysis of existing system and processes.
  • Improve operational processes and support critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of applications systems.
  • Support key stakeholders and lead during the project design and implementation.
  • Providing in depth technical knowledge and leadership whilst demonstrating a strong understanding of multiple IT technologies/principles.
  • Managing 3rd party support vendors, resource, SLA, contract deliverables etc.
  • Champions IT governance adoption and compliance with policies and standards to maintain consistency and reduced risk across IT applications service and solution delivery.

Key skills & experience required as the Application Delivery Manager:

  • Solid experience in application support and related field.
  • Able to identify, prioritise, and solve complex application issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience implementing middleware solutions using Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
  • Experience with implementations that involves large data transfers.
  • Experience delivering e-commerce solutions using Cloud technologies and on-prem solutions.
  • Experience in Cloud platforms (particularly Microsoft Azure) & Automation is desirable.
