This role is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of IT assets across a major services business - examining, streamlining and optimising existing systems and processes to improve efficiencies and cost.

The organisation is investing heavily in its data function and conducting a review of its group wide systems. Reporting to the Head of Data, key duties include:

• Conducting monitoring, analysis and review of the business’s portfolio of IT assets.
• Creating project communications for key stakeholders and promoting innovation and change through the enhanced delivery of data services.
• Managing the ongoing development of group systems with regard to open data, providing the highest standards of service to the business.
• Providing a flexible and collaborative approach to supporting the successful delivery of solutions, effectively engaging and supporting stakeholders to provide the required information on time and taking appropriate actions.
• Implementing and maintaining best practices for data management, ensuring data quality control.

This is an internal customer facing role and you should be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels.

The ability to communicate complexity effectively to general customers is key as is the ability to promote change and innovation.

You will be familiar with Agile methodologies and flexible in your approach.
