Day to Day of the role:

  • Ensure compliance with data protection, information security, and risk management obligations.
  • Lead regular audits and recertification activities for standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
  • Gather requirements and manage the vendor selection process for security products.
  • Maintain and ensure the effectiveness of Information Security Management System (ISMS) and security policies, standards, procedures, and guidance across the business.
  • Monitor security logging and alerting systems.
  • Respond to customer security questionnaires and ensure that security measures meet customer expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in information security management and compliance.
  • Familiarity with standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
  • Experience working within SaaS, IaaS or PaaS environments 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience
  • Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
  • Experience in conducting security audits and leading recertification activities.
  • Ability to manage vendor selection processes for security products.
  • Competence in maintaining and implementing ISMS and security policies.
