We are seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in system configuration and development, particularly within clinical systems. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing these systems, ensuring thorough testing, accurate recording of changes, and effective collaboration with digital teams and third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop clinical systems, including thorough system testing and accurate recording of changes.
  • Collaborate closely with end users, system suppliers, clinicians, and other teams to ensure effective service design and implementation.
  • Provide training for administrative and clinical staff, tailoring sessions to meet the needs of individuals or groups.
  • Report and monitor system issues, manage new release schedules, and perform necessary system testing.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to system functionality and development.
  • Respond to user queries and take relevant actions to address their requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity processes in the event of system failure.
  • Analyse, investigate, and resolve complex system queries and issues.
  • Collate user requirements for software and hardware configuration.
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks, working closely with system suppliers or developers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Investigate and analyze user errors and issues, coordinating and delivering retraining as needed.
  • Continuously improve clinical system procedures and processes.

What are we looking for?

  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and discretion.
  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and prioritize a complex workload.
  • Experience with Clinical Information Systems and managing senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
