You'll be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while working closely with an outsourced IT function. IT Support EngineerNewcastle (North Shields) / Onsite£25,000 - £33,000
Daily Duties:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support via phone and remote access.
- Managing and resolving service desk tickets.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and networks.
- Supporting office moves, including IT setup for new locations.
- Maintaining security compliance, including ISO 27001 processes.
- Managing patch updates, user accounts, telephony, and mobile devices.
- Travelling to sites across England, Scotland, and occasionally the USA and Middle East.
Tech Stack:
- Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.
- Networking, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
- Backup, antivirus, and mobile device management solutions.
- Telephony and remote access software.
