This is a great opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a small but dynamic team, supporting IT infrastructure? You'll be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems while working closely with an outsourced IT function. This role offers the chance to expand your skills across a wide range of technologies in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

IT Support EngineerNewcastle (North Shields) / Onsite£25,000 - £33,000

Daily Duties:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support via phone and remote access.
  • Managing and resolving service desk tickets.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, and networks.
  • Supporting office moves, including IT setup for new locations.
  • Maintaining security compliance, including ISO 27001 processes.
  • Managing patch updates, user accounts, telephony, and mobile devices.
  • Travelling to sites across England, Scotland, and occasionally the USA and Middle East.

Tech Stack:

  • Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS.
  • Networking, Wi-Fi, and firewalls.
  • Backup, antivirus, and mobile device management solutions.
  • Telephony and remote access software.
