Our client have been designing and manufacturing life-saving products for over 20 years, protecting iconic buildings across the globe and the people within. Their team members are passionate, driven and up for a challenge. They are currently looking to recruit for a permanent production / final assembly operator.

The Job:

Due to high demand and the launch of new products they are looking for additional production / final assembly operators to work within the manufacturing team. The main responsibilities of this role will be to assemble the company’s products, making sure the highest of quality standards are met.

The role will have some repetitive tasks from time to time when assembling components on the PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) along with other duties such as final assembly and production line work.

Candidate requirements:

Youwill ideally have some experience of working in manufacturing and be able to demonstrate some of the skills detailed below:

  • Ability to understand assembly build documentation
  • Electronic component recognition
  • Hand soldering
  • Use of hand tools
  • Final assembly and test

Knowledge of electronics assembly is a huge plus, but they are a believer in getting the right people, with the right attitude:

  • You will be a great team player who works well both alone and with others
  • Have excellent attention to detail, with good eyesight and dexterity, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
  • You will need to be reliable and able to demonstrate a flexible approach
  • You will have a keen willingness to learn and gain new skillsWe will provide full on-the-job training to get you up to speed and then ongoing support to help you achieve your targets
