Customer Claims Advisor - Newcastle
Location: Longbenton, Newcastle
Salary: 24,000 - 26,000
Start Date: 26th March 2025
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM, working on an 8-week rotational shift pattern
We are looking for an experienced Customer Claims Advisor to join our team in Newcastle. This is a crucial role where you will be the first point of contact for customers making insurance claims-often during stressful situations, including cases of loss of life. Your ability to show empathy, build rapport, and handle sensitive conversations will be essential.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a contact centre, financial services, or supervisory role in retail/hospitality
- Strong customer service background with the ability to handle complex conversations
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage challenging situations with professionalism
- Flexibility to work within an 8-week rotational shift pattern, covering Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM

What You'll Do:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers making insurance claims
- Gather all necessary information to begin the claim process
- Provide support and reassurance to customers during difficult times
- Ensure supplementary services (e.g., car hire) are arranged where needed
