We are excited to be recruiting for a firm in Newcastle, for an Account Handler to join their team.

Job Summary: As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring their insurance needs are met with the highest level of service. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and support on insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Policy Administration: Handle the administration of insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Claims Support: Assist clients with the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters, brokers, and other team members to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an account handling or similar role within the insurance industry.
