Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their dynamic family brokerage in Newcastle Upon Tyne area. This role involves managing a portfolio of existing commercial clients, providing expert advice, and ensuring they have the right insurance coverage tailored to their specific business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and servicing an existing portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Advising clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options.
  • Liaising with insurers to negotiate terms and secure competitive quotes.
  • Ensuring all client records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term client relationships.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and insurance products.
  • Offering valued advice, when clients are going through the claims process.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial insurance - ideally within a brokerage.
  • Strong commercial insurance product knowledge, including but not limited to property, liability, fleet, and business interruption.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Cert CII qualification (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable but not essential.
