IT Infrastructure Engineer
Newcastle/Hybrid
£35,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to ensure smooth IT operations across multiple client environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to plan and implement system upgrades, migrations, and new technologies.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations within Active Directory.
- Oversee hybrid work solutions, ensuring remote access and seamless connectivity.
- Document technical processes, best practices, and IT procedures to ensure efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Required Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Windows Server, Office 365, and Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of networking (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Problem-solving skills to address complex IT issues.
- Knowledge of cloud services such as Azure is a plus.
