Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage planning applications from inception to completion.
- Provide expert advice on planning policies, regulations, and local authority procedures.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to the preparation of planning statements, reports, and representations.
- Support senior team members in managing projects and growing the team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and local policies.
Key Requirements:
- Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI) is essential.
- Proven experience in town planning within a consultancy or local authority setting.
- Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
- Proficient in using planning software and tools.
