Employment Solicitor – Exciting OpportunityLocation:Newcastle / SunderlandFirm: Leading, Rapidly Expanding FirmWe are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing law firm with offices in both Newcastle and Sunderland, who are currently looking to hire an experienced Employment Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to join a dynamic and supportive team, working with a varied caseload.Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse mix of Claimant and Respondent work, including:
  • Grievance and disciplinary proceedings
  • Unfair dismissal
  • Redundancies
  • Discrimination and harassment
  • TUPE matters
  • Employment contracts, handbooks, and policies
  • Previous advocacy experience would be an advantage.
  • Engaging in marketing and business development activities to help grow the employment department. The Ideal Candidate:
    • At least 2 years PQE in employment law.
    • Strong client care skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
    • A proactive, confident approach to both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
    • Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.
    • Advocacy experience is a plus.
    • Enthusiasm for contributing to business development and firm growth.
