A Healthcare Solicitor is required by this Top 50 UK law firm, to be based in their Newcastle offices with opportunity for hybrid/agile working.

Role OverviewIn joining this nationally recognised law firm as a Healthcare solicitor, you will advise on a wide range of healthcare matters, including providing representation at inquests, representing clinicians before their regulator body, medical device/product liability work and general advisory work. You will manage a full and varied caseload.

Candidate ProfileThe firm is seeking a Healthcare Solicitor who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in dealing with clinical negligence claims from a Claimant or Defendant perspective, including medical malpractice and/or dealing with high value and complex personal injury matters;
  • Experience in healthcare advisory work (preferred but not essential);
  • Excellent drafting and legal research skills;
  • Ability to interpret complex legal documents and use specialist knowledge to advise clients;
  • An interest in Business Development and keen commercial awareness.
