The Role
  • A newly created role of Legal Consultant to be based in Newcastle (Hybrid working available).  
  • You would spend roughly 75% of your time on commercial contracts in areas such as data contracts, research agreements, billings, procurement contracts and IP.  
  • The final 25% of your time would be spent undertaking project work, governance, development of processes & systems and technology utilisation
  • You'll be the main point of contact for commercial contracts and will be able to operate autonomously and diligently.  Escalating high value contracts to HO as appropriate
  • Occasional travel is expected
The Person
  • We're looking for an experienced individual who is committed to being hands on and into the detail
  • Ideally you will have 3-5 years PQE and will have trained within a reputable law firm
  • Strong academics are essential with a minimum of a 2:1 degree and A grades at A'level
  • You will be a forward thinking and highly collaborative individual with a strong work ethic.
