JDI Legal are currently working with a longtstanding coastal practice on Tyneside who are looking to make a key hire in their small dedicated and profitable private client team.
My clients have an excellent name and reputation and are looking to make this appointment due to succession. It would suit a lawyer with at least 5PQE+ who is interested in playing a lead role in a 3 strong team. The successful candidate will inherit an existing and good quality caseload of wills, trusts, estate administration, LPA's elderly client etc and offer guidance and support to the trainee and more junior members of the team.
Whilst the ideal person will work full time, 4 days would be considered and there is some flexible working available.
This role is a position with genuine prospects to take on the reins of the department and even work towards directorship. There is no ceiling in terms of PQE and firm would potentially consider someone looking for Partnership.
