Senior Private Client Lawyer – Newcastle - 5+ PQEA highly regarded law firm in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join its growing team. Known for delivering exceptional legal services with a personal touch, this firm is committed to providing tailored advice to meet the unique needs of their clients.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solicitor to manage a range of private client matters, including wills, probate, estate administration, and Court of Protection work. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the growth of the firm’s private client department, working alongside the Head of Department to support and supervise a dedicated team.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a caseload of complex private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.
  • Supporting the team with legal supervision and mentoring, providing training and guidance to junior staff.
  • Keeping up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the firm’s services remain compliant and of the highest standard.
  • Contributing to business development and marketing initiatives to raise the firm’s profile, including networking and writing blogs.
  • Upholding exceptional standards of client care, ensuring all matters are handled with professionalism and sensitivity.
Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience in private client law and will be comfortable handling complex and high-value matters. Experience of supervising or mentoring junior solicitors would be beneficial.We are looking for someone who is:
