An opportunity has arisen for aProperty Legal Secretary to join a commercial real estate department of a well-established law firm. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Property Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Commercial Real Estate team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting fee earners with efficient and accurate secretarial tasks.
  • Preparing and amending documents, including contracts, reports, and leases, in line with house style.
  • Opening and closing files, including compliance tasks and drafting engagement letters.
  • Managing client calls, taking messages, and handling correspondence.
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as WIP management, completion statements, and invoicing.
  • Creating, amending, and formatting complex legal documents.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant, Legal Clerk or in a similar role.
  • Must have secretarial experience in a Commercial Property or Real Estate department.
  • Accurate typing skills with a speed of at least 60 wpm and experience using transcription software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Confidence in handling large and complex documents.
