My clients are looking for a legal assistant to join their dispute resolution and employment teams in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with opportunity for progression. Role Responsibilities
  • File opening and liaising with clients regarding AML requirements
  • File/matter management in Liberate including file opening, drafting engagement letters, terms of business, undertaking file closure
  • Typing from audio dictation using Diktamen
  • Supporting fee earners and coordinating due diligence documents and information
  • Production of letters, emails, documents, invoices and other legal documentation
  • Preparing bills and completion statements and liaising with clients
  • Answering client calls regarding new enquiries
Ideal Candidate
  • Good attention to detail
  • Plan and manage workload effectively
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Accurate typing, minimum speed 65wpm
  • Proficient in Word and Excel
  • Proficient in PDF document collation of bundles for court hearings
