My client is a well-established independent lift company,established in 1992, holding over 25 years of experience in the industry.They offer a variety of lift types, such as passenger lifts, goods lifts, service lifts, platform lifts, dumb waiters, stair lifts, dock levellers, and firefighting lifts, priding themselveson using the latest technology to ensure energy efficiency, safety, and reliability in their installations.

Due to company expansion and recent contract wins,they're actively seeking an NVQ Level 3 Qualified Engineer to join their local branch, covering a local route within the City of Newcastle.

The role will involve the following duties;

  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of lifts across a dedicated Newcastle route.

  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to ensure lifts remain in top working condition.

  • Respond to callouts and breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs.

  • Conduct safety checks and inspections in line with industry regulations and company standards.

  • Provide excellent customer service, keeping clients informed of work carried out and any recommendations.

  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation using company systems.

  • Work in accordance with health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and management to ensure efficient service delivery.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have the following;

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in lift servicing and confidently carrying out small repairs.
  • An NVQ3 in Lift Servicing or Installation.
  • A full UK Driving License.

The position offers a fantastic remuneration package, including;

  • A basic starting salary of up to 45,000pa.
  • Excellent standby and callout fees for participating in the night call rota.
  • 25 days' annual leave, in addition to Bank Holidays.
