Role: Machine Tooling Maintenance Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Duration: 6 months initial
Rate: Equv. 40,000 Salary
Rullion are recruiting for 2 x Machine Tooling Maintenance Engineers; 1 x Mechanical Bias and 1 x Electrical Bias to join one of leading clients in the manufacturing of Gas services equip
Mechaincal Bias
- Experience of machine tools, Heller,Starrag,MFD, XYZ etc
- Formal apprentiship/ 5+ years engineering experience
- Working in a machine tool enviroment preferred
- Mechatronics/cross disipline trained
- Competent with computing, spreadsheets, word doc etc
- Experience with machine tool geometric alignments/adjustments
- Basic understanding of induction motors
- Knowledge of the operation of relays/contactors/electro-mechanical valves/pumps, etc.
- Experience with the use of test equipment
- Understands basic electrical drawings
- Understands basic hydraulic drawings
- Understands advanced hydraulic drawings
- Understands basic pnumatic drawings
- Understands advanced pnumatic drawings
- Experience with Siemens 840D/Dsl.
- Familiarity with Siemens 840D/Dsl basic diagnostics,alarm messages,I/O etc.
Electircal Bias
- Experience of machine tools, Heller,Starrag,MFD, XYZ etc

- Familiarity with Siemens 840D/Dsl advanced diagnostic,plc variables, drive set up, etc
- Experience with Siemens S7 plc
- Familiarity with Siemens S7 plc diagnostic and editting
- Familiarity with Siemens analogue and digital drives.
