Job Summary:

If you're looking to break into the Engineering industry and have some experience in hands on Maintenance Roles or some Engineering qualifications with no experience this could be a great opportunity for you. They are looking for somebody they can invest in and develop to them progress into their Maintenance team as a Maintenance Engineer. Loads of support and training provided! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting equipment issues and minimizing downtime.
  • Help in the implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Some experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, days only (no nights or weekends).
