Back to searchOur Client:Our client is a well recognised bespoke manufacturing business located close to Newcastle, and we are very pleased to be supporting them in their search for an Assistant Production Manager to join their team. The opportunity:Reporting directly to the site Production Manager, you will play a key role in the development of process and efficiency within a specific manufacturing area to ensure custom-made products are produced to extremely high expectations. You will have responsibility for managing a team of skilled operators as well as working closely with all other departments to ensure ease of product flow through the manufacturing process whilst ensuring the highest of manufacturing quality in accordance with customer expectations.About you:As an experienced Production Leader, you will have experience of managing a team in the manufacture of premium high quality products to meet, and ultimately exceed, customer expectations. With well developed leadership skills, you will be able to effectively communicate, drive and support a team and maximise efficiency through the use of lean production techniques.
