Job Opportunity: Site Manager
Location: Newcastle
Duration: 2 Days
Rate: 280 per day
Start Date: Saturday 15th - Sunday 16th
Hours: 7am - 6pm
We are seeking a Site Manager to start on a site in Newcastle on a large Hotel Fit Out contract.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing Site Operations - Ensure daily site activities run smoothly, coordinating workers, subcontractors, and deliveries.
- Health & Safety Compliance - Enforce safety regulations, conduct risk assessments, and ensure PPE is used correctly.
- Project Planning & Scheduling - Monitor progress, manage deadlines, and address any delays or issues.
- Quality Control & Inspections - Ensure work meets industry standards, conducting regular site checks.
- Budget & Resource Management - Track expenses, manage materials, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
- Communication & Reporting - Liaise with clients, senior management, and stakeholders, providing updates and resolving concerns.
Requirements:
- Driving License
- Own PPE
- SMSTS
- CSCS card/ H&S test pass within the last 2 years
- First aid at work
- Fire warden
- Asbestos awareness- UKATA
- Any working at height cards/cert
- Manual handling
- Face fit testing cert
- Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
