We provide the world’s preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service. At Norton Rose Fulbright, our strategy and our culture are closely entwined. We know that our expansion will mean little unless it is underpinned by truly global collaboration and we understand that pioneering work only takes place when our people have room to move and think beyond boundaries. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we're looking for people who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do.

The role:

Are you meticulous and detail-oriented? Do you have a passion for data management and ensuring accuracy?

Our marketing team is currently recruiting for a CRM Marketing Assistant. As well as the relevant skills and experience, we're looking for applicants who are innovative, commercial and value the work that they do. We celebrate multiple approaches and points of view and believe diversity drives innovation, so we're building a culture where difference is valued.

Based in Newcastle and working as part of an established wider marketing and business development (MBD) team, this role supports the development of our client engagement strategy, through a robust approach to data management across the EMEA region. As the CRM Marketing Assistant, you'll be responsible for data cleansing and management tasks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our client data. You will have a key role in maintaining data quality and supporting data-driven decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct data cleansing activities, primarily with our CRM platform (InterAction), to identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates in datasets.
  • Maintain and update data records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the MBD function, as well as our lawyers, to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures.
  • Monitor data quality metrics and generate reports to track improvements.
  • Support data migration and integration projects as needed.
  • Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices.

Skills and experience:

  • A relevant qualification in data management or a proven track record in delivering data management services
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Expertise in handling CRM data (preferably experience using InterAction) and using other data management tools.
  • Proficiency across the Microsoft Office 365 suite, including Excel
  •  A good understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
