Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Newcastle Manufacturing 4 on 4 off - days and nights £48,261 + overtime + company bonus Gi Pro are excited to join forces with a world-renowned manufacture based in West Newcastle!Job Role:We're currently seeking Multi Skilled Maintenance persons (mechanical) to join a maintenance team based on a state-of-the-art site to provide effective maintenance, repair & servicing of plant & equipment.Typical Duties will involve:

  • Work with the factory team to implement the strategic plan for the site.
  • Utilise a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to facilitate planned preventative maintenance and stock control.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, service and repairs.
  • Carry out reactive maintenance activities as required.
  • Ensure all relevant data is recorded accurately.
  • Maintenance of mechanical equipment

Desirable experience

  • Is experienced in working in a preventative planned maintenance environment.
  • Has experience of maintaining large engineering plant and equipment:
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis on electrical, and mechanical equipment and circuits,
  • Basic fabrication skills
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis on fluid power equipment and circuits.
  • Level 3 (mechanical)
