Mechanical Engineer (Technical Specialist)

Due to continued expansion, they have an opening for a Mechanical Engineer (Technical Specialist) to join their team. This is a home-based role supporting the North/Scotland division. The successful Mechanical Engineer (Technical Specialist) will be based from home and will travel to customer sites in the North East and Scotland regions and will provide technical support to customers recommending solutions to their machinery and engineering issues. Candidates living in or close to the following locations are of particular interest: Newcastle, Hexham, Jedburgh, Berwick-upon-Tweed.

Mechanical Engineer (Technical Specialist) Requirements:

• Qualified mechanical engineer with a minimum of level 3 in a mechanical engineering discipline.
• Excellent mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Experience of working with a diverse range of engineering equipment.
• Good understanding of lubrication systems.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Self motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Happy to travel and willing to stay away from home occasionally overnight.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with customers at all levels.
• IT literate.
• Hold full UK driving licence.
