We are seeking a talented and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical systems and equipment through preventative and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform regular preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  • Respond to and resolve mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure effective equipment operation
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical faults and recommend appropriate solutions
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and practices
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Day-to-day
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot mechanical issues
  • Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate maintenance activities
  • Document maintenance activities and update maintenance logs
  • Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on maintenance improvements
