Randstad C&P are working with a leading Facilities Management company who are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team working on a mobile contract covering sites in Newcastle upon Tyne.

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of air conditioning systems on commercial sites in Newcastle. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and functionality of the site's HVAC systems, responding to planned maintenance as well as reactive service calls.

The Package:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on air conditioning systems (splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair faults to ensure systems are operating efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out
  • Provide exceptional service to the client, ensuring minimal disruption to site operations
  • Liaise with the Facilities Management team to schedule maintenance activities

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (essential)
  • F-Gas certification (essential)
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial setting
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
