Service Engineer/ Field Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer to join a market leading engineering supplier

Service Engineer/ Field Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of process cooling equipment including Industrial Chillers, Coolers, Temperature Control Units, Cool Ancillaries, and Enclosure Cooler Units amongst others, at customer sites covering the North East UK including Newcastle, Yorkshire, Hull and surrounding areas

Service Engineer/ Field Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer will ideally have service experience with a F Gas qualification within the Process Cooling, Refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC industry or similar. Candidates with an electrical qualification such as 18th edition, NVQ Level 3 or similar within electrical engineering would be advantageous

Package:
  • 38,000-44,000 depending on experience

Service Engineer/ Field Service Technician/ Refrigeration Engineer Role
  • To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of process cooling equipment at customer sites covering the North East UK including Newcastle, Yorkshire, Hull and surrounding areas.
  • The Process Cooling Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics and fault finding on existing cooling equipment including industrial chillers, coolers, temperature control units, cooling ancillaries and enclosure cooler units amongst others
  • Perform emergency breakdown. fault finding and repairs on various cooling system equipment
  • Conduct regular system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
  • Liaise with customers and various internal teams to deliver technical support, respond to inquiries, and provide advice on system operation and maintenance.
  • Fully remote with occasional commute to the workshop near Lichfield for training.
Service Engineer/ Field Service Technician/ Refrigeration Engineer Requirements
  • Proven experience within the process cooling, refrigeration, HVAC or other relevant industries
  • Experience as a service engineer, service technician, process cooling engineer, refrigeration engineer, HVAC engineer or similar with a F Gas certification
  • F-gas qualification is essential
  • Covering the North East UK including Newcastle, Yorkshire, Hull and surrounding areas
  • Candidates with an electrical qualification such as 18th edition, NVQ Level 3 or similar within electrical engineering would be advantageous
  • Experience with maintenance and repair of complex systems and ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
