We are looking for an experienced Technical Training Manager with a strong engineering or technical background to lead and develop our training programs. This is a unique role focused on mentoring and supporting the team, ensuring our technical processes and standards are consistently upheld across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training & Development: Provide technical training and ongoing support to staff, mentoring individuals and teams to maintain industry-leading standards.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance current technical processes, identifying opportunities to simplify and streamline operations using new technologies and data analysis.
- Feedback & Innovation: Offer constructive feedback to the leadership team, contributing to the development of technical training courses and new service lines.
- Health & Safety: Champion workplace Health & Safety, setting a high standard and ensuring compliance across all projects.
Duties:
- Provide Technical Support & Mentorship: Offer ongoing technical support to staff, mentoring teams and individuals to achieve high standards within the business.
- Process Improvement & Simplification: Analyze current processes, challenge inefficiencies, and implement improvements through site engagement, stakeholder collaboration, and using data-driven insights.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Lead by example in maintaining strong workplace health and safety standards across all projects and locations.
- Feedback & Innovation: Provide valuable feedback to the Senior Leadership Team and contribute to the development of innovative technical training courses.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in technical training, ideally from a technical or engineering background.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- Experience in process improvement and working with internal audit teams to drive efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Relevant industry certifications such as BDMA or Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
- Demonstrable experience in technical roles with responsibility for training or process improvements.
