About the Role:

  • Position: Technical Operator
  • Location: Newcastle
  • Hourly Rate: £16.50 - £17.50 ph 
  • Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday DAYS
  • A combination of operating equipment and basic Maintenance.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate and maintain high-tech machinery and equipment as a Technical Operator to ensure smooth and efficient production
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Work closely with a team to achieve production and Engineering targets and maintain high-quality standards
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations throughout all operations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Operator or Engineer in an FMCG or food manufacturing environment
  • Skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced machinery and technology
  • Qualifications: Apprentice trained and qualified to a Level 3 or above in mechanical engineering
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
