Central Employment are working with a leading provider of digital marketing solutions. They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Biddable Account Director, to manage the UK digital performance strategy for a leading global automotive brand.

Newcastle based + hybrid

Up to £55,000 DOE + excellent benefits

This role provides a unique chance to spearhead digital innovation, enhance revenue, and execute a comprehensive digital performance plan within a dynamic and expanding team. You will be a senior leader, directly engaging with clients and collaborating with diverse internal teams across the entire digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete digital improvement process regionally, ensuring accountability and optimization from internal teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for R.A.C.E performance, engaging with the client’s leadership team.
  • Develop performance strategies based on thorough analysis and teamwork with channel experts.
  • Establish benchmarks for regional performance reporting and create exemplary case studies that highlight significant improvements and innovative approaches.
  • Analyze overall performance to guide cross-channel budget allocations.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration and communication through process management, including the use of JIRA (experience with JIRA is a plus).
  • Collaborate with digital channel teams (search, social, programmatic) to ensure campaigns are set up, executed, and optimized effectively across all platforms.
  • Maintain a daily routine of performance analysis, evaluation, optimization, and insights.
  • Review performance data daily to develop optimization plans with channel teams.
  • Implement and oversee digital channel roadmaps and optimization strategies, while developing new targeting and creative solutions in partnership with channel teams.
  • Ensure local teams adhere to the performance roadmap.
  • Participate in the global performance community to accelerate the adoption of beneficial support and share regional successes.
  • Lead the performance forecasting and budget approval processes using data-driven methods.
  • Work with planning and digital teams to deliver a cohesive performance campaign response to client briefs.
  • Share insights and learnings across regional and global teams to maximize impact.
  • Connect optimization efforts in multichannel campaigns to strategic reporting, ensuring consistent results.
  • Produce performance reports that offer clear, actionable insights for clients in both short-term and long-term scopes.

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven track record in managing performance-focused campaigns across digital channels.
  • Extensive knowledge of Paid Media channels such as PPC and Paid Social
  • Expertise in delivering high-quality campaign insights and data analysis (e.g., analytics, online consumer journey, dashboarding).
  • Ability to convert strategy and planning into effective digital execution.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify actionable insights and improve performance reporting.
  • Competence in integrating specialist inputs into a cohesive performance narrative.
  • Confident in managing and mentoring team members, including direct reports and wider agency staff.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in ad tech.
