Electronic Technician (PCB Repair)

£24,000 to £32,000 DOE + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Performance Bonus + Ongoing Training

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 (Including 30 Minute Lunch Break)

Electronic Technician required for a small and stable company who specialise in the repair and refurbishment of complex, industrial electronic equipment, due to company growth.

This is a great opportunity to work with technology leading diagnostic and repair techniques within a company who can offer ongoing training as you will work closely with the company director.

Candidates will need experience repairing and maintaining electronic products and will need experience working with PCB boards and soldering. You will be responsible for performing repair and refurbishment services on PCBs, including single phase and 3 phase circuits.

The Electronic Technician Role:

· Diagnose & Troubleshoot: Identify faults at the component level, including SMT/SMD, power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and thyristors.

· Repair & Service: Carry out repairs and refurbishment on a variety of PCB assemblies, including switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) for both single-phase and three-phase circuits.

· Read & Interpret: Work accurately from schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

· Test and fault finding: Use a range of testing equipment to ensure PCBs are fully operational before returning them to clients.

The Electronic Technician Candidate:

· Experience with electronics repair – including working with PCBs

· Experience using testing equipment

· Able to read and interpret schematics / diagrams
