Residential Care Officer - Young Adults complex disabilities and acquired brain injuries


Salary: £13.44 per hour (£25,859 per annum), plus a sleep-in allowance of £68.00 per sleep-in and enhanced overtime rates.
Location: Newcastle
Hours: 37 hours per week, covering a 7-day rota

About the Role:
As a Residential Care Officer, you will:

  • Help residents lead a healthy lifestyle by promoting positive choices and independence.
  • Facilitate engaging, meaningful activities tailored to individual interests.
  • Administer or assist residents in self-administering prescribed medication according to policy.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to navigate challenging situations.

  • Experience supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries or profound and multiple disabilities is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
