We are looking for English lecturers across the Northeast region, who are looking to either take on agency contracted roles, or in some cases permanent job placements. The successful English lecturer will have the following skills and qualifications, or be willing to work towards:

Experience in delivering either GCSE level or functional English
A recognised teaching qualification, or a Higher Education degree relating to English

Ability to manage challenging behaviour.

Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting is desirable but not essential

A good communicator, and above all else be a kind and resilient person.

Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or a willingness to apply for one via Reed.
