A Payroll Bureau in the Newcastle area is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to join their growing team.
The position requires experience in payroll, preferably with knowledge of Iris systems and Excel, along with bureau experience.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience to support a busy payroll department in a high-volume environment.
The role offers a salary of up to £28,000, along with benefits such as a pension, on-site parking, and up to 33 paid holidays.
Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for hybrid working and flexitime.

I am working alongside a Payroll Bureau based in the Newcastle area who are looking to add a Senior Payroll Officer to their established team. They are going through vast rapid growth and are looking for an experienced candidate to support and grow in the organisation.

Key Duties/Tasks:

Technical skills: Iris systems preferred & excel
Bureau experience ideally
Support the busy payroll department

High volume, fast paced role

Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries.
Working to deadlines
Manual calculations
Opportunity to support other departments such as accounts with payroll processing and accounts queries
