Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well-established client in Newcastle who are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in a busy finance team, your duties will include:

•        Running end to end payroll processing for your own portfolio of clients

•        Completing manual calculations

•        Carry out standard and non-standard payroll tasks in a timely manner

•        Take responsibility the data entry tasks and activities

•        Communicate clearly with other departments within the business

•        Provide support to senior colleagues

You will:

•        Have experience in running end to end payroll processing for your own portfolio of clients

•        Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

•        Have experience of dealing with high volumes of work

•        Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to manage workload effectively and independently

•        Have the ability to complete manual calculations

•        Have strong Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualification

•        Have good knowledge of payroll legislation

•        Have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

•        Be a team player

•        Be proactive
