Are you looking for a new Pharmacy Manager position that provides further training, support and exciting clinical service expansion plans?This thriving community Pharmacy near Byker is very well established and is now in the position to offer an experienced Pharmacy Manager the staff, tools and technical support to run an efficient ship, whilst focusing on clinical service provision.This exciting transition towards offering more patient-facing clinical services, is supported by fully trained ACT's and L2+3 NVQ Dispensers and Technicians, as well as state of the art automated software, robots and AI. All the support is available to efficiently run this high-volume and highly successful independent PharmacyYour role will be to support the 2nd Pharmacist and wider team, be service-driven and will include full training to provide all clinical services as appropriate, as the DHSC develops Primary and Secondary Care over the coming months and years.Key Duties
  • Will be responsible for the line-management of staff, and the day-to-day running of the branch
  • Advises patients on the proper use of prescription medication and answers questions about the drugs
  • Discusses side effects and potential adverse interactions of drugs with patients
  • Offers various wellness and health-screening services, such as blood-pressure monitoring, vaccine administration, and diabetes screening, as well as Pharmacy First
  • Must be eager to learn and develop as the Pharmacy transitions to better meet the needs of the community whilst supporting Primary Care
Package and Benefits
  • Salary range: £60,000 - £65,000p/a based on 40 hrs p/w
  • Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hr unpaid lunch) Saturday working not required (already covered)
  • 5 weeks holiday + BH
  • Incentivised service bonuses to be discussed
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • MUST be a qualified Pharmacist in the UK
  • MUST have GPhC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years Pharmacy Manager experience
  • Must have experience of high item volume Pharmacies
