Job Title: Legionella Plumber
Location: North East  Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum (DOE) + Benefits
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legionella Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of water hygiene in line with industry regulations. Your main duties will be on the emphasis of plumbing remedial works, disinfection of domestic hot and cold water systems and Legionella monitoring at various new and existing commercial and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Disinfection of complex hot and cold-water services, including MDPE pipework to water authority standards.
- To undertake legionella monitoring to ensure compliance with the ACoP L8 / HSG 274, PPM, Schedules and Procedures.
- Installation / maintenance of hot and cold-water services.
- Remedial works to existing hot and cold-water systems.
- Service of Thermostatic Mixer Valves/Taps
- Water sampling of hot and cold-water systems, including swimming pool, hot tubs and where necessary, effluent samples.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience working in water hygiene, Legionella control, or a similar role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines.
- Hold NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing.
- City & Guilds in Disinfections of Hot & Cold Water Systems.
- Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate.
- Ideally based around Northumberland/Tyne & Wear/County Durham.
- Full UK driving licence.
