The School and Role

A Primary School based in the West End of Newcastle are looking to appoint a driven Primary Teacher to join their established team. This role will be based within a KS1 classroom, and the successful applicant will be expected to take on all class teacher responsibilities, including planning, marking and getting involved with the wider school ethos. Previous experience of delivering the KS1 curriculum is essential, however, applications are welcomed from both Early Career and experienced teachers.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have:

  • Experience of teaching within KS1.
  • Experience of delivering Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • The ability to plan and deliver differentiated learning.
  • An excellent understanding of how to support pupils with SEND.
