Job title: Intervention Teaching Assistant
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Hours: 8:30am -3:30pm
Salary: £83- £120 per day

Intervention Teaching Assistant role
- Design and deliver effective intervention programs to support the learning needs of primary school students.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to find areas for improvement and implement targeted strategies.
- Provide individual and small group instruction to students who require added support.
- Monitor student progress and keep comprehensive records of interventions and outcomes.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications working with children (E.g. Level 3 teaching Assistant) and experience in primary education
- A thorough understanding of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
- A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
- RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history
- Availability to work Monday to Friday 8.30-3.30pm Term Time only. This position is to start in September.
