Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with teachers to provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs.
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) that address students' specific needs.

  • Monitor and document students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Support students' social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and skill-building activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective support strategies.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.

  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
