Product Manager Calibration Services
Location Newcastle Upon Tyne or surrounding
Salary - c£36,000 Basic plus bonus and benefits.
The Company
This hugely respected employer has a presence globally and had UK headquarters in the North East. They manufacture and array of test and measurement equipment and provide calibration services and servicing and training packages to many sectors including manufacturing, rail, automotive, medical and renewables to name a few.
The Role
The role is very interesting, you will be responsible for assessing the current calibration service offering to UK-wide customers and future developing these calibration services whilst ensuring necessary accreditations. You will oversee 8 Field engineers and work with them to gain end user feedback and insight as to other new test and measurement services being offered in the various sectors they serve. You will be expected to travel occasionally to customer sites and attend and support exhibitions.
The Candidate
We are looking for a professional with a high level of knowledge about calibration and test and measurement services. You may well have been an engineer and involved in calibration or have worked in a calibration test laboratory or within testing and certification. As well as this technical expertise you will need to be comfortable talking to customers (it is not a sales role) and working closely with field engineers and being able to lead a team. Strong leadership, analytical skills and a deep understanding of calibration standards are essential.
