Smart Manufacturing Solutions are currently seeking a Quality Inspector for one of our clients growing success in Newcastle. Responsibilities

  • Conduct factory acceptance testing ensuring products meet customer requirements
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions
  • Identify non-conforming products, materials, or processes and raise issues in a timely manner. Ensure all non-conformance reports (NCRs) are properly documented and that corrective actions are tracked and closed
  • Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards

Experience

  • Proven experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for reporting findings clearly.

Hours of Work:

Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 3:30PM

Friday 7:30AM - 12:30PM

Pay Rate:

15.08 per hour
