About The Role:Shift Pattern: Monday to FridayKey Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and consent work in your geographical area, ensuring it is planned and completed according to your LCM's programme.
  • The staff or subcontractors available to you should be equipped and motivated to deliver operations to excellent standards of safety, compliance and efficiency. Where they are not, you contact your LCM prior to work starting.
  • You will support and promote the proactive nature of our work and demonstrate firm leadership when needed.
  • You will retain responsibility of your work through to completion, so when planning, you will liaise closely with your LCM around forecasted work volumes, costs, and challenges to ensure planned output is met.
  • Ensure that work specifications and method statements are fully completed and the selected team to carry out the work are trained and compliant for the tasks.
  • During work planning, you will ensure operational procedures, safe working methods and best environmental practices are followed according to customer requirements and Company compliance procedures.
  • You will make sure all documentation required to carry out work in a compliant manner is available to the work team. If required, you will complete the sections of this, relevant to your role, before site work starts.
  • You will provide regular tracking updates to your LCM.
  • Your work must comply with current legislation and you will continuously reinforce the importance of safety performance and internal company and customer standards.

Key Hiring Criteria:

  • Good standard of basic education
  • Reasonable computer literacy/administrative skills (using app-based data collection and form filling, writing of emails)
  • Experienced UA5 qualified or equivalent level training (includes Lantra Transmission Surveyor)
  • Any relevant industry qualification (preferred)
  • Professional Tree Inspector (PTI) (a mandatory training requirement if not already held)
  • Credible track record in Utility Arboriculture
  • Computer literate, experience in Excel & Finance systems essential
  • Diligent, numerate with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own work whilst working on a variety of tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
