Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner
Location: Gateshead/Newcastle
Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide low-intensity support to children, young people, and young adults within our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services, utilizing a brief intervention framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children, young people, and young adults across our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services.
- Offer low-intensity support under a brief intervention framework.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience working with parents, families, children, and young people.
- Leadership experience.
- Experience in supporting families dealing with complex and sensitive issues through advice and advocacy.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to plan and manage your own workload.
Essential Requirements:
- A current DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
- On-site working to best support clients.
- A valid driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to travel across the region.
