Job Title: Technical Coordinator
Salary: 50,000 - 60,000
Location: Newcastle
We're working with one of the UK's most well-known housebuilders who are looking for a Technical Coordinator to join the Design and Technical Team in Newcastle.
Role + Responsibilities
Technical Design & Documentation
- Manage technical drawings, approvals and statutory applications (including NHBC/Building Regulations)
- Ensure compliance with planning schemes and conditions
- Oversee preparation of brochure plans and sales documentation
Project Management
- Create and monitor design programmes
- Drive external consultant delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets
- Control and report on professional fees
- Coordinate between internal teams and external parties
Site Operations
- Attend key project meetings and site inspections
- Resolve technical queries and construction issues
- Interview subcontractors
- Provide timely construction information to site teams
